“Drawing Orchestra” was invented by Hiraku Suzuki and Daijiro Ohara. Eight performers from different backgrounds such as drawing, typography, poetry, photography, dance, performance art, graffiti, and digital media gather to generate a collaborative space through the act of “drawing” lines. What happens when the lines that they create overlap in real time through video and sound? It is a radical endeavour by the artists to cross over existing genres.
